Labrys CEO Ethereum updates

Ethereum News:

Labrys CEO, Vitalik Buterin, has announced new updates regarding Ethereum. He states that the network will be undergoing a hard fork on October 25th in order to increase its security. This update comes after the recent attack on the Ethereum network which saw $150 million worth of Ether stolen.

45% of ETH validators now complying with US sanctions

The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has placed sanctions on a number of individuals and entities. As a result, many Ethereum validators have stopped doing business with them.

This has caused a significant decrease in the number of Ethereum transactions. In fact, over the past week, the number of Ethereum transactions has dropped by 45%.

The good news is that, as of today, 45% of Ethereum validators are now compliant with OFAC sanctions. This means that the number of Ethereum transactions should start to increase again soon.

It’s important to note that, while the majority of Ethereum validators are now compliant with OFAC sanctions, there are still a few holdouts. These holdouts could potentially cause problems for Ethereum in the future.

Overall, it’s good to see that the majority of Ethereum validators are now compliant with OFAC sanctions. This should help to increase the number of Ethereum transactions in the near future.

What to expect in 2019

There are a lot of exciting things happening in the world of Ethereum in 2019. Here are some of the things that you can expect to see:

The Constantinople hard fork will occur on January 16, 2019. This hard fork will reduce the block reward from 3 ETH to 2 ETH and will also introduce a number of other changes to the Ethereum network.

The Release Candidate for the Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Chain will be released in Q1 2019. This release candidate will allow users to start staking their ETH and earning rewards.

In Q2 2019, we can expect to see the release of Ethereum 2.0 Phase 0. This phase will see the launch of the Beacon Chain and will mark a major milestone in the development of Ethereum 2.0.

2019 will also see a number of major conferences and events taking place, including Devcon 5, which will be held in Osaka, Japan in October 2019.

What is the latest on the Constantinople?

The Constantinople hard fork was originally scheduled to occur at the end of January 2019 but was postponed due to a last-minute software bug. The fork was rescheduled for February 27th and then delayed again due to another software bug. As of today, the fork has still not occurred and there is no new information on when it will take place. Ethereum developers are currently working on fixing the remaining bugs and once they are resolved, the fork should occur relatively soon. Stay tuned for updates!

How is Ethereum doing in Venezuela?

According to Juan Galt, the CEO of Labrys, Ethereum is doing quite well in Venezuela. The country is currently in the midst of an economic crisis, which has led to a decrease in the value of its currency, the bolivar. However, Ethereum has been able to maintain its value relatively well. In addition, Galt notes that there has been an increase in the number of Venezuelans using Ethereum.
